After which he was subjected to severe criticism. In her controversial tweet, Babita wrote that Muslims in India have a bigger problem than Corona.

After this tweet, a trend called Suspend Babita Phagat came out. By using it, users have been critical of Babita. People have also requested the Twitter administration to suspend their accounts. In addition, some of their supporters also made the hashtag of Eye Support Babita Pught. Later in 2019, the extremist organization of the Bharatiya Jatan Party, Babita, compared herself to former Bollywood actress Zaira Waseem, saying that despite threats, she was not afraid of anyone. He said, ‘I made a few tweets about Tablighi Jamaat, after which I started receiving threats. Let me tell everybody, and I am not a loser. I am not afraid of such people. ‘ Later Zaira Waseem also shared a tweet on his Twitter account, in which he requested people not to praise him, Zaira did not name Babita Pught in his post. Regarding himself, however, he is not such that people should follow him as they truly are. Babita, who is participating, said in a video that she started receiving threats after controversial tweets.
