US military hospital located in the outlaying areas of Washington was lockdown on Monday because of the investigation made by the police regarding the reports of a active shooter. The US navy stated that Walter reed medical centre was facing a lockdown due to a unconfirmed active shooter. The locals and military police carried a search in Bethesda, Maryland, NW of Washington. On the social account twitter police stated that officers heard a single shot being fired. Out of so much caution no incident or crime scene has yet been confirmed. The army staff took cover and a code was activated “code white” lockdown was declared at a facility which had 7000 employee and the security was tight. Patients and employee started hiding in the bathroom with lights off. Another military facility was put In lockdown after unknown shooting heard on the same day but it turned out to be false. Navy yard has seen a mass shooting in which one guy killed 12 people.
