Pakistan TV industry had its heydays between 60s and the 90s with several charismatic and iconic screen faces, but the evolving time has replaced the immortally famed actors of the yesteryears with the young glamourized lot of the contemporary time. And this had to happen.

The TV industry in Pakistan had seen a ‘golden era’ featuring stars like Zafar Masood, Rafi Khwar, Kamal Ahmed Rizvi, Shehnaz Sheikh Mehboob Alam and Aurangzeb Laghari and till date, the fans of the time still dub the old era as ‘unforgettable and matchless.’

And by old, we’re talking days when there was no channel except for PTV but the plays and dramas that aired during that period still has significance and relevance to our lives even now.
